The Texor Construction System uses various combinations of lightweight concrete components, as described below, which makes it suitable for a variety of building projects.
Variant A: Applicable to Load-Bearing Wall Projects
Option 1: Load-bearing Neopor CLC block walls of density 1200 - 1600 kg/m3.
Option 2: Load-bearing Neopor CLC poured-in-place walls of density 1200 - 1600 kg/m3.
Variant B: Applicable to Concrete or Steel Column and Beam Structure Projects
Option 1: Non-load-bearing Neopor CLC block walls of density 800 - 1000 kg/m3.
Option 2: Non-load-bearing Neopor CLC block cavity walls of density 800 - 1000 kg/m3.
Option 3: Cavity facade walls including self-loading Neopor CLC outer walls connected to any concrete or steel structure with a specific device, and non-load-bearing Neopor CLC block inner walls of density 800 - 1000 kg/m3.
Floors
Floor slabs include Neopor CLC screed of density 400 kg/m3 and peripheral insulating components which provide a significant reduction in cold bridges.
Energy-Saving Performance
Compared to a 25-cm thick red hollow-brick cavity facade wall - the most widely used facade wall in Algeria - a 25-cm thick Neopor CLC single non-load-bearing wall offers much better thermal qualities: 9.9 hour phase displacement (instead of 5.5) and 1.17 m2.K/W thermal resistance (instead of 0.80).
Furthermore, Neopor CLC requires 200 kWh/m3 of grey energy - which is the sum of all energies consumed by a product, from design to recycling – compared to 700 kWh/m3.
Other Benefits
Compared to red hollow bricks, cellular lightweight concrete:
Improves facade aesthetics and air/water proofing
Increases the capacity to withstand seismic forces
Reduces costs and turnaround time
